Winter Cometh

Can you say 'cold'? I should've worn thicker socks out. My toes are going numb... But thank God for a roof over my head and walls that retain at least some heat. Would've been a better idea to switch the heater on before leaving - or at least set a timer - but I'm a Kiwi; the cold is nothing (*insert Tui advert here*).

Aside from imminent Winter bearing down on us, things seem to be moving forward. I just came from an inspiring prayer time with a couple of old friends. My prayer life has been shoddy as of late and this was enough to slightly encourage my spirit. But not only that, our city is going to be impacted, simply because we were able to put aside the distractions of life and focus on what truly matters: the Lord God Almighty and His Plan ^L^

So yeah, there's apparently this spiritualist dude holding these seminars in our town hall this week and so seeing as the writhing and seething forces of hatred and destruction will be bent on wreaking havoc and tormenting people's lives even more, it's in our best interest to see that the power they thought they had is ultimately snuffed out. Because there's one thing they didn't count on: the Blood of Jesus and commission of the saints to plead the Power of the Blood, thus rendering Satan's forces impotent. Ohhh yeahhh ^^

Some things to keep in mind: protection against retaliation and assault; determination to see spiritual battles through; faithfulness to the cause; commitment to the faith; continued renewal of sanctification; glory to God in everything XD

We don't simply fight against rapscallions and hooligans but against disgusting forces of darkness. It's not so much a battle of the mind as it is a battle in the spirit.
